Lauren graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University with a concentration in Public Relations and Human Communication, and a clear view of what her career would be. From her first wedding assisting as a college intern at Elle & Co. she knew immediately her life was destined to be surrounded by love & weddings in every way. She is married to her sweetheart, Michael, and their wedding consisted of classic beauty, stunning blooms, and her favorite thing, monograms.
Since high school, Lauren has had a love of all things weddings so she applied for an internship at Elle & Co. in 2016. Within a few events, both knew they were a match made in heaven. If there are two things Elle loves, it is a charismatic personality and an eagerness to be the best; Lauren exuded both. She has spent numerous years working with both weddings and corporate event planning, which has given her an incredible knowledge of all aspects of the event industry. Lauren is known for her meticulous attention to detail innovative design, making her a sought-after collaborator for venues vendors. Her combination of authority, wit and elegance has earned her the admiration of clients couples across the country. Lauren works with clients interested in Month of to Full Planning & Design, as well as managing various social and corporate events. After Elle Ellinghaus relocated from Maryland to Georgia in 2021, Lauren was promoted to Marketing Director, where she has successfully maintained the brand's presence and relationships in the market.
Fun fact--You can often find Lauren moved to tears at father-daughter dances, a testament to her genuine passion for her work.
